The Fanes Falls via ferrata with its 5-kilometre length and 100 metres of elevation gain is a classic first hike with an easy and short route, which can be tranquilly travelled in half a day. We are in the Dolomiti D’Ampezzo Nature Park, in Valle di Fanes, crossed by the River Boite.
Attention should be paid to any wet and therefore slippery sections of rock. It consists of three different segments which can also be climbed separately. The stretch under the waterfall is magnificent.
