Toffol, a settlement in the hamlet of L’Andria in the municipality of Selva di Cadore, lets you plunge into the tradition and authenticity of the places.
Here you will be able to see an old mill still in operation that testifies to the past of this area. In fact, there were mills, forges and a sawmill on the banks of the Loschiesuoi stream. Along the route through the hamlets of L’Andria, some of these buildings are still visible along with the old barns, called “faér” for drying broad beans, Ladino-style houses, a limestone depot, and the “ciaucera,” the furnace where stones were baked to make limestone.
