Discover an authentic piece of Cortina d'Ampezzo's history: the cable car that climbs Monte Faloria from the town center was called the “Principe di Piemonte” when it was inaugurated on February 5, 1939.

A unique view of the Ampezzo valley.

Recently renovated, with its reopening during the 2025/26 winter season, this pioneering facility once again offers an exceptional view overlooking the entire Ampezzo valley and the beautiful surrounding mountains: from Croda da Lago to Tofane, from Pomagagnon to Cristallo.

In total, the cable car climbs over 900 meters and, with a rapid and exciting ascent, reaches an altitude of approximately 2,100 meters.

Starting point: center of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
