With its overhanging and vertical walls, the equipped Becco d’Ajal climbing crag offers a real challenge!
It is one of the largest climbing crags around Cortina, made up of several sectors scattered through the forest, with high grades suited to more experienced climbers.
Nestled in a dense spruce forest north of Croda da Lago, it enjoys a panoramic position with spectacular views over Cortina and the surrounding mountains.
From Cortina, head towards Passo Falzarego and Passo Giau via Pocol. After passing the village, continue for about one kilometre and park on the left-hand side, just before the meadow near Malga Peziè de Parù.
Cross the road and take the trail leading into Val Formin. From here, you can enjoy an incredible view of Tofana di Rozes.
