The Sellaronda, also known as the Four Passes Tour, is one of the most iconic road cycling routes in the Dolomites. Starting and finishing in Arabba, this legendary loop circles the Sella Group for around 51 km, crossing four mountain passes that have become part of cycling history: Campolongo, Gardena, Sella and Pordoi.
Hairpin bend after hairpin bend, this outstanding alpine loop delivers a continuous sequence of climbs, descents and high-mountain views, making it one of the most rewarding rides in the region.
Riding the Sellaronda from Arabba means setting off from one of the Dolomites’ best-known road cycling destinations, in a strategic position at the foot of Passo Campolongo and Passo Pordoi.
The route can be ridden in either direction and is best suited to cyclists with a good level of fitness and experience on mountain climbs. Anti-clockwise, it leads from Arabba towards Passo Campolongo and Corvara before continuing on towards Gardena; clockwise, it heads first to Passo Pordoi and Passo Sella, revealing some of the Sellaronda’s most spectacular scenery along the way. A true cycling classic, the route is made even more iconic by its connection to some of the Dolomites’ best-loved events, including the Maratona dles Dolomites, the Dolomites Bike Day and the Sellaronda Bike Day.
