From the square, one ascends Via Piai to follow Via Mazzer and reach the hamlet of Broz. After the first houses at the first junction, turn left and continue to the Crosera (fountain and signboard) to descend to Spert along Via Coste de Mai. Cross the square and follow Via Tanon, climbing out near the cemetery, onto the main road Via Cansiglio, which is followed until the two Bridges. Just beyond, to the left, the ascent of Col Saler will take you back to elevation to exit at Cargador. Further ascent after crossing the road of Pian Rosada and passing the barrier immediately to the left. A long and beautiful wooded stretch follows to reach and exit into the pastures in the malghe area of Tambre. After passing the last malga of Manteo, the path continues gently uphill on a forest road, returning to the woods and proceeding north toward Le Maghe, the highest point in the area. The long and steep descent crossing Pian dei Tac – a window on Alpago and the Val Belluna – and Pian dei March will lead you back to Via Cate (asphalt) to follow until Mont. At the church of Mont, following Via S. Daniele you descend and continue along a panoramic stretch of the homonymous hill from which you ascend the Caotes valley. After crossing the stream at the bottom of the valley, you ascend the Bosco delle Fratte to exit at Pianon which you cross. After passing Via Cate, you continue on Via Federa to return to Tambre following the Saline – Larghet road (junction). A short descent along Le Val will take you back to Tambruz and thus to Tambre via Cal del Leip (old road) will bring you back to the Crosera Tambruz.

main interest: landscape for the wide views of Cansiglio, Valbelluna, and Alpago that open up at various points, naturalistic and scenic.

Medium difficulty level due to the length, elevation change, partly paved road, partly forest path, and partly cement. Steep sections between Le Maghe – the highest point of the route – and Pian dei Tac, which is cement, require particular attention especially in descent and on wet asphalt, as well as the section just beyond between Pian dei Tac and Pian dei March on asphalt.

Length: km 32.55
Minimum elevation: mt 851
Maximum elevation: mt 1343
Elevation change: 492mt
