The Locanda Valmorel is located in the heart of the village of Valmorel, within the historic building that once housed the town's inn. Opened in February 2025, the establishment is managed by Francesca Covre, who chose to embark on this experience with the support of her family, returning to the village a place dedicated to meeting and conviviality.
The facility combines a rustic atmosphere with modern comfort. On the ground floor are the bar and the restaurant, cozy spaces where locals and visitors can stop for a break or share a convivial moment. On the first floor, there are five hospitality rooms, each equipped with a sauna for exclusive use, designed for those who wish for a relaxing stay.
The kitchen offers simple and tasty dishes inspired by mountain culinary traditions. The bar features a selection of wines, non-alcoholic drinks, and small tastings, ideal for a stop at any time of the day. The facility is equipped with free Wi-Fi and adopts technological solutions oriented towards sustainability, such as biomass heating, photovoltaic panels, and thermal recovery systems.

The Locanda Valmorel is a special place: where tradition is rediscovered and tells the territory in a new way.
Housed in the historic building of the former village inn, the Locanda opened its doors in February 2025, under the guidance of Francesca Covre, a young woman who decided to take a chance, supported by her family.
The idea of reopening this establishment was promoted by the Elserino Piol Foundation, with the desire to make it the vibrant heart of the village: a place where locals can gather and where welcoming and conviviality can always be found.
The Locanda succeeds in blending rustic atmosphere and modern comfort: on the ground floor are the bar and restaurant, while the first floor features 5 rooms with exclusive sauna access. A place suitable for everyone, which allows you to feel pampered and to rejuvenate your mind and body.

The Locanda was created to be the first meeting point between tourists and the Valmorel community. An idea enhanced by the stone walls, larch beams, and custom furnishings designed by the Belluno architect Manlio Olivotto.

Francesca also places great importance on daily sustainability; in fact, she refuses to use any non-recyclable materials. One example is the BIO Chic tableware made from palm leaves, which are completely biodegradable… —So much so that they can be burned as wood in the larin. Perfect, right!? Not to mention the circular economy project behind it, a human and mindful gesture.
