From July 13 to 19, Rifugio Averau invites guests to experience a unique sensory experience dedicated to alpine wild herbs and the authentic flavors of the mountains.
For an entire week, the refuge's kitchen offers an exclusive special menu inspired by the aromas of high-altitude pastures, created in collaboration with Irene De Pellegrini, an expert connoisseur of alpine flora and the properties of mountain herbs.
Each dish tells the story of the territory through scents, colors, and wild ingredients that grow among the rocks and meadows of the Dolomites, transforming the alpine culinary tradition into a journey of discovery and taste.
The week will culminate on Friday, July 17, with a special day dedicated to understanding the local flora, an experience that will combine outdoor activities, nature, and gastronomy in one of the most picturesque settings of the Dolomites.

Rifugio Averau can be reached:
via the Fedare chairlift from Passo Giau;
on foot from Rifugio Scoiattoli, which is connected to the valley by the 5 Torri chairlift.
