The Association Il Fondaco per Feltre, in collaboration with the CAI – Section of Feltre, presents Archeotracce: Archaeological Paths in the Province of Belluno, a multi-year project dedicated to the knowledge, enhancement, and promotion of the Belluno archaeological heritage. The initiative aims to create a cultural network, uniting museums, archaeological sites, local associations, and scholars, and making the oldest history of our mountains more accessible.
The project is supported by the Fondazione Dolomiti UNESCO, a recognition that highlights the importance of archaeology in dialogue with the Dolomite landscape and the cultural heritage of the territory.
The 2025 – 2026 edition consists of a series of outreach meetings that will take place between autumn 2025 and spring 2026, hosted at the Sala Polifunzionale del Pradenich in Cesiomaggiore (BL). All events are scheduled for Saturday afternoons and are free admission.
The series will then offer a number of Archeotrekking discoveries between spring and summer 2026 in collaboration with the CAI, the TAM group of Feltre, and local realities. These outings will allow participants to explore the places discussed during the conferences firsthand.

The meeting will take place, like the subsequent ones, at the Sala Polifunzionale del Pradenich in Cesiomaggiore (BL), near the sports facilities.
The Angelini Foundation, which provides the scientific contribution for this meeting, will set up part of the archaeological exhibition organized between 2024-2025 at the Museo Fulcis in Belluno: Dolomites and plain. Life and cultures in comparison 3,000 years ago.
An information booth will also be present with publications from the Angelini Foundation and Il Fondaco per Feltre.
Archeotracce aims to bring the public closer to the oldest history of the province of Belluno, promoting shared knowledge and fostering new collaborations between institutions, associations, researchers, and enthusiasts.
A pathway designed to connect people, places, and stories, creating new opportunities for dialogue and cultural growth for the territory.
