On Tuesday, June 2, the 80th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Italian Republic is celebrated.
The program for the celebration has been partially modified compared to usual, given the occurrence of the 4th stage of the Giro d’Italia Women scheduled for the same day.
At 9:30 a.m., the gathering is at the Commemorative Stele in viale Fantuzzi, for the honors to the Gonfalone of the City of Belluno, the honors to the Prefect, and the honors to the Fallen of the Wars 1915/18 and 1940/45.
Following that, a parade of the institutional procession will take place along the route viale Fantuzzi, piazza Piloni, via Zuppani, via Roma, porta Dojona, piazzetta delle Erbe, and via Duomo, preceded by the “Filarmonica di Belluno 1867.”
At 10:00 a.m., in piazza Duomo, to the notes of the national anthem, the Firefighters will raise the Tricolor on the Clock Tower of Palazzo dei Rettori.
Then, a reading of the message from the President of the Republic will be given.
The ceremony will conclude with the final honors and with a musical entertainment by the “Filarmonica di Belluno 1867.”
From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in piazza Duomo, an exhibition of vehicles used by the Army, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, State Police, Penitentiary Police, Firefighters, and Local Police will be set up.
