The pilgrimage to Our Lady of Runal is a millennial tradition that takes place annually in the town of Farra d'Alpago. This sacred event, which occurs on September 7-8, is deeply felt by the local community and numerous devotees who come from all over to pay homage to the Madonna.
Our Lady of Runal is venerated in a small church situated on top of a hill, offering a breathtaking view of the valley below. The pilgrimage begins with a long walk that winds through mountain paths, providing participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unspoiled nature and to enjoy the tranquility and spirituality of the place.
Once at the church, the pilgrims participate in the mass celebrated in honor of Our Lady of Runal, during which prayers are offered and songs are sung in an atmosphere of deep devotion.
