The Heart's Path, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (Piazza Maggiore) - 32032 Feltre (BL) IT (0039) 04392540 feltrino@dolomitiprealpi.it www.dolomitiprealpi.it

The route starts from the sports field square of San Gregorio nelle Alpi. Exiting the square, turn left.

You pass by the schools whose walls showcase the frescoes by Vico Calabrò, a professional fresco artist from Agordo, and continue along the Pedemontana road until you reach the fork for Maserolle on the left.

Continue on the main paved road until you arrive at the locality of Maserolle. Here, if desired, it is possible to take a detour to the Veses stream, where the Via dell’Acqua passes, or continue on the main road until you return to the provincial road.

You cross this road, slightly ascending northwards to then take the road on the right that continues towards Fumach. Here stands the Church of San Bartolomeo, built in the 1400s and famous for the frescoes of the Last Supper with Shrimp.

From the small church, continue to the left, passing in front of the wonderful Villa Villabruna. Go straight ahead, keeping to the left where a short but steep ascent begins, leading to the village of Barp where you can admire the rural architecture of this characteristic hamlet.

Then, proceed uphill until you reach another fork. Taking the left will allow you to return to the end of the loop passing by the Church of Sant’Antonio Abate, better known as quel del porzèl, famous for being the first to cure the Saint Anthony's fire by rubbing the affected area with pig fat.

Finally, ascending again, you return to the Pedemontana and, turning left, you return to the starting point.
