Falesia "Tarzan Wall" di Sanzan

Falesia "Tarzan Wall" di Sanzan, Sanzan - 32032 Feltre (BL) IT

The overhanging cliff of Tarzan Wall has seen its first routes created by Maurizio Felici, followed by Daniele Lira, Riccardo Scarian, and other friends from the Belluno area. The dolomite, of excellent quality, has a limestone cover with truly special grip. There are routes of medium to high grade, both "slabby" and super overhanging, reaching up to 35 meters, with a vast variety of holds from furious crimps, to slopers, pockets, and jugs of all sizes... and some "touch-ups".

Given the steepness and type of climbing, the difficulties are medium-high. The spot at the base is comfortable and also suitable for children, but the rock, with some friable sections, requires great attention from those below. The cliff is climbable even when it rains, but when it gets wet, it takes a long time to dry.

Access:

From the village of Sanzan, walk uphill through the town and take the path to "Tre Croci," veering left onto the obvious trail that runs the entire length of the cliff. At some point, after a metal cable for firewood, a turnoff leads left and goes up towards the base of the cliff on its right side when viewed from the mountain. Approach time is about 25 minutes.
