Pleasant loop trail through woods and open landscapes up to Pian de le Femene, with views that on clear days reach the lagoon of Venice. Along the way, you will encounter the Museum of Resistance, a testament to the local partisan history. This hike is suitable for everyone, ideal for families and for those seeking an easy itinerary through nature and memory.
This loop itinerary begins at Malga Montegal, where parking is available. Follow the paved road towards Malga Canal del Gat, then shortly after, divert onto the dirt road no. 2204, known as Troi dei Cavai.
The trail crosses scenic spruce forests until reaching Casere Frascon, then continues on the forest road no. 2000 along a panoramic ridge section up to Pian de le Femene.
Here, it is possible to take a break at the Agriturismo Casera Vecia and visit the Museum of Resistance. On clearer days, the view extends to the lagoon of Venice, providing a particularly striking sight.
For the return, follow the path no. 2200 north, which leads back to Malga Montegal, completing the loop.
