Stage 19 of the Giro d’Italia 2026 takes place on Friday, May 29, starting from Feltre at 12:30 PM and finishing in Alleghe – Piani di Pezzè. The stage covers 151 km with around 5,000 metres of elevation gain across some of the most spectacular climbs in the Dolomites: Passo Duran, Coi, Forcella Staulanza, Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego.
It is one of the most anticipated mountain stages of the 2026 edition: demanding, selective, and capable of reshaping the overall standings. For fans, it is also a rare opportunity to experience the Belluno Dolomites along the race route, among hairpin bends, mountain villages and ever-changing scenery at every turn.
How to get there and where to park
FELTRE – Parking areas and road closures
The stage start is scheduled for 12:30 PM from Largo Castaldi. Roads along the route will close approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes before the race passes through: closures in Feltre are expected from 10:00 AM.

ALLEGHE – Parking, shuttle service and road closures
The finish line is at Piani di Pezzè, accessible via the Alleghe–Pezzè cable car (operating from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, round-trip fare €10 on May 29). The local road to Piani di Pezzè will be closed from 6:00 PM on May 28.
Main public parking areas (between Alleghe and Caprile):
- Santa Maria delle Grazie – approximately 700/800 parking spaces, accessible from the bridge over the Cordevole River
- Along the shoulder of the S.R. 203 road between Alleghe and Caprile
- Bus parking area about 1,500 m north of the cable car departure station
