Silicosi: l'olocausto dimenticato della montagna veneta.

To not forget a sad and painful chapter of Belluno's history that stands alongside mourning and tragedies (one of which bears the name Marcinelle), the Municipality of Fonzaso (BL), through the Civic Library, is pleased to host the presentation of the book Silicosis. The Forgotten Holocaust of the Venetian Mountain (Bellunesi nel Mondo Edizioni 2025) curated by the author Egidio Pasuch.

A careful and meticulous historical research work, to shed ample light and memory on "the deadliest occupational disease of modern times". With this new volume, the author shines a light on the darkness of oblivion, restoring voice and dignity to those who paid with their lives for their sacrifice.

The preface is curated by journalist, television presenter, and science communicator Luciando Onder, a well-known face of TG5 where he deals with medicine in his own personal column.
