Show “Cash on delivery”

4th appointment of the "Autumn at the Theater in Comelico 2026" review.

The Tarvisium Teatro company stages the amusing comedy titled Cash on Delivery.

Eric Carter, unemployed for two years, continuously receives social security letters addressed to the previous tenant of the apartment he lives in.

Tired of his situation, upon receiving yet another letter, he has the brilliant idea of assuming the tenant's identity to collect the corresponding benefits, thus defrauding social security.

However, he becomes trapped in the web of bureaucracy and cannot stop the flow of checks and subsidies that start arriving incessantly, not even after his explicit requests.

Until one day, a social security inspector shows up at his home for a check, and… she isn't the only one to show up!

This sets off a frenetic comings and goings of clumsy characters, including a funeral director and a social worker, leading to increasingly surreal situations that even threaten an impending wedding.

In this hilarious comedy, a frenetic back-and-forth of clumsy characters creates increasingly surreal situations, tackling the complications of bureaucracy with overwhelming humor, at times tragicomic.
