Discover moreOn Wednesday, April 22nd at 8:30 PM, the Teatro Dino Buzzati will host the presentation of the book "Rediscovering the Belluno Prealps" by Giovanni Carraro.
A journey of 543 kilometers on foot through seven areas that tell the variety and beauty of the Belluno Prealps.
"This book comes from a return. After the Treviso Prealps, the Prosecco Hills, and Grappa, I felt something was missing, the Belluno area, which for me is also my land of origin. It was from there that my journey began, having been born in Pieve di Cadore and having spent my childhood in Sois, on the outskirts of Belluno.
From this, 50 itineraries and 543 kilometers on foot emerged, from Ponte nelle Alpi to Setteville, with Tabacco maps and GPS tracks, but above all with many stories of places and people. Rediscovering the Belluno Prealps is my ninth book that concludes a long journey of exploration of the Eastern Venetian Prealps, where, in summary, I have narrated 3000 km of trails."
