In the year of the tenth anniversary of MUSAL – Albino Luciani Museum, the Papa Luciani Foundation is celebrating the occasion through the programming and organization of weekly summer cultural events that will take place throughout the months of July and August. These events aim to promote culture, local history, and faith while also leaving ample space for music and new publications.
On Friday, July 17, 2026, at MUSAL – Albino Luciani Museum, a conference will be organized, held by Loris Serafini, director of the Papa Luciani Foundation, who will present the activities of the recently inaugurated Study Center at the Albino Luciani Museum. To enliven the evening, connecting with us directly from England will be writer Paul Spackman, benefactor of the Papa Luciani Foundation and author of the first British biography of Pope John Paul I.
The evening will continue with a special visit to the Study Center, a specialized library in ancient books where some very important 1500s publications and testimonies on the early literary works of the Valley of Biois are kept.
The Papa Luciani Foundation is pleased to share this proposal with pilgrims visiting Canale d’Agordo, providing informational materials free of charge. The brochures aim to accompany pilgrims and visitors through the culture and discovery of the local history, the great figures of the valley native to Papa Luciani, and music.
