Olymipic Stories is the new series of events devised by Una Montagna di Libri, the grand international festival of literature that has animated Cortina d'Ampezzo for over a decade with hundreds of initiatives dedicated to culture and sharing.

From the heart of the Queen of the Dolomites, we embark on an exciting journey between past and future: meetings with athletes from yesterday and today, champions of Italian sport, authors and storytellers who recount the spirit of the Games, the feats that made history, personal challenges beyond the finish line.

Among the most anticipated stops will be moments dedicated to the legends of sport and their stories of commitment, resilience, and passion. From the testimonies of great protagonists to new Olympic perspectives, each meeting becomes an opportunity to reflect, be moved, and rediscover the human value behind every medal.

The initiative unfolds in multiple phases, starting with events spread across the valleys of the Dolomites, culminating, during the weeks of the Olympics and Paralympics in Cortina, with special appointments – some of which are yet to be unveiled – that will guide the audience and enthusiasts directly into the heart of the Olympic celebration.
