Inauguration of the Vette Dolomitiche exhibition. The great athletes of the Biois Valley

In the year of the Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina 2026, the Pro Loco of Canale d'Agordo wanted to pay tribute and remember the many sports talents of the Biois Valley who have participated in World Championships and the Olympics over time.

The exhibition is dedicated to the athletes who have stood out in various disciplines, from winter sports (snowboarding, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and ice hockey) to summer sports (running, climbing, grass skiing).

22 personalities, all from the territory of the Biois Valley, more precisely from the municipalities of Canale d'Agordo, Falcade, and Vallada Agordina, will be celebrated for their historic achievements and their most significant results, to honor the values of sport, loyalty, sacrifice, and growth.

The exhibition will tell the stories of these great athletes through panels, videos, and memorabilia, which will be displayed at the Albino Luciani Museum and the Casa delle Regole in Canale d'Agordo, in a unique and emotional narrative journey.

As part of the Ecomuseum of the Valle de Biois, weekly guided tours will also be organized on Thursday afternoons with the opportunity to meet an athlete to whom questions and curiosities can be addressed.

The exhibition, with free entry, will observe the following opening hours:

ALBINO LUCIANI MUSEUM From July 6 to September 6, every day from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

CASA DELLE REGOLE From July 6 to September 6, every day from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
