Comedy “1 X 2”

2nd appointment of the event "Autumn at the Theater in Comelico 2026".

The Archibugio Theater Company presents the comic show titled "Romeo and Juliet. A Story of Bandits".

The famous tragedy by William Shakespeare transforms into a hilarious lesson-show!

The feud between the Montagues and Capulets becomes a story of bandits, with the protagonists even landing in the "wild west", involving the audience firsthand for some hilarious moments of the narration.

In beautiful Verona, where the scene is set, two families of equal nobility break out into a new feud. And the blood of the citizens stains the hands of the citizens.

It took the pen of William Shakespeare to tell the violent Veneto of the late 1500s.

It took L’Archibugio to tell "Romeo and Juliet" as... a story of bandits!

Between one gag and another, the troubled tale of the young lovers thus becomes the pretext to recount ancient stories of crime and justice, resurfaced from the archives of the Serenissima.

With Giuseppe Balduino, Giovanni Florio, Umberto Peroni, Claudia Schiavoi, Nicola Rossin, Marcel Frumusachi and Ludovica Casotto.

Text by Giovanni Florio and directed by L’Archibugio Theater Company.
