Beyond The Waves

Friday, October 23, Patagonia Cortina transforms into a small cinema dedicated to wave surfing: an evening to be swept away by the power of the sea, discover the stories of those who live it, and rediscover the deep bond between man and nature.

The protagonist of the evening is Bamb’Amaza, the new Patagonia film that tells how surfing can become a school of life. In Cape Town, Othandwayo finds in the waves the strength to face difficulties, perseverance, and a sense of community. Because the ocean is not dominated: it is learned to be listened to.

It continues with The Physics of Noseriding, a journey between science and magic to explore the almost impossible balance between surfer, board, and wave, and Sensing Home, an adventure along the Australian coast that reveals the fragilities of aquatic ecosystems and the courage of those who strive to protect them.

Three short films, three perspectives, one unique energy: that of those who choose to live nature, understand it, and respect it.
