On the occasion of World Poetry Day (March 21), the Municipality of Fonzaso, through the Civic Library, hosts the absolute preview of the presentation of Oscar Locatelli's new book.
Oscar Locatelli's poetry tells a world where ideals seem to fade away, indifference grows, and work takes on a new face. A contemporary tale made up of short, direct, and musical verses, far from rhetorical emphasis or doctrinal pretensions.
During the evening, the author will engage in a dialogue with Giovanni Trimeri, a friend and companion in the editorial adventure of Abiti – Lavoro. The presentation will be enriched by: poetic readings curated by Barbara Gallon and Silvana Vignaga and original musical interludes curated by Tommaso Sogne.
“Sometimes I Talk to Myself” (Underground Editions, Milan) addresses the contradictions of an increasingly complex civilization that is closed in on itself, where indifference often takes the place of ideals. The poems capture these reflections in essential and incisive words, capable of narrating the present.
A meeting dedicated to poetry and reflection on our time.
