A Just Peace

The cultural summer of Cortina d'Ampezzo opens with an event set to make a mark. A Mountain of Books kicks off the season with an extraordinary protagonist: Oleksandra Matviichuk, one of the most authoritative voices in the world in the defense of human rights and human dignity.

Nobel Peace Prize and Sakharov Prize, Matviichuk has documented human rights violations and war crimes for years, transforming testimony into civil action and individual courage into a universal battle for justice.
