Saturday, October 10, 2026, Cortina celebrates 140 years of the Voluntary Firefighters and 30 years of the Cortina d’Ampezzo Firefighter Station: two important anniversaries that become a celebration open to the entire community.

A day to come together and take a closer look at the world of Firefighters through parades, demonstrations, music, and cooking, in a narrative made of gestures, vehicles, skills, and passion.

But above all, a day to say thank you.

Thank you to those who intervene when others stop. To those who put time, energy, and courage in the service of others. To those who understand the value of teamwork and know that, in the mountains as in life, no one is saved alone.

Cortina thus celebrates an authentic part of its identity: commitment, courage, solidarity.
