Dining at Altitude at Rifugio Averau: a journey of taste and stars

At 2,413 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Dolomites, the Averau Refuge invites you to experience something unique: dinners at high altitude under one of the most spectacular skies in Italy.

From June 13 to September 25, the Siorpaes family welcomes guests in a captivating atmosphere, where the beauty of the mountain at sunset combines with a high-quality à la carte dining proposal.

To make this experience accessible even after the ski lifts close, an exclusive jeep service operates daily by reservation. The meeting point is in Cianzopè, along the road that leads from Cortina to the Falzarego Pass. After receiving the access code for the private road, guests will be able to reach the parking area near the Cinque Torri Refuge, where jeeps will be waiting for the final ascent.

The service, available for groups of at least five people, costs 30 euros per person for round trip, offering a comfortable and enchanting access to the dinner at high altitude.

What makes the experience even more extraordinary is the sky above the Averau, certified "Gold" as one of the most beautiful in Italy by Astronomitaly. On selected evenings, it will be possible to observe stars and planets with professional telescopes guided by experts, transforming dinner into a journey between taste and the universe.
