Vignui - Altin

Features

The route from the village of Vignui leads, through pastures and woods, to admire the panorama of Feltre, Villabruna, and Foen.

ACCESS The starting point is located at the hamlet of Vignui, in Piazza della Fontana, where there is free parking without reserved spots. It can only be reached by private vehicles.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION From the center of Vignui, proceed towards Pren, then turn left along via Don. At the junction, turn left along via Altin and continue for a short stretch until an intersection: from here, continue to the right on a dirt road with a slight incline, which is relatively easy to navigate. From the edge of the woods, continue through the pastures of a farm until reaching the buildings of this farm; the road, which is downhill, is unpaved, steep, and not navigable independently. From the buildings, continue towards the small church of Altin on a flat dirt road, except for a slight uphill section, before reaching a viewpoint overlooking Feltre, Foen, and Villabruna. From here, for a short stretch, the road is slightly downhill, unpaved, and uneven, then it becomes flat, while the final part is a steep downhill, uneven, and requires assistance. After crossing the asphalted road uphill, continue left towards Vignui, until reaching the starting point.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT AND NOTES Suitable stroller for uneven terrain (off-road wheels) and a swivel wheel. The support of an accompanying person is necessary.
