The “Troi de le Creste” begins at the large parking lot at an altitude of 1399 near the restaurant “La Casera,” located in a charming position with an excellent panoramic view with 360-degree views; all of this will be the reason for the path, the grand scenery that one contemplates.
You can drive up from the Nevegàl square to the end of the municipal road in the parking lot close to the restaurant “La Casera.”
You ascend southward, following a good trail until an intersection with the casera Favergherèta (former Malga in the municipality of Farra d’Alpago - q.1517). Continue ascending towards the higher hill, the Monte Faverghèra (q.1608), then briefly descend still heading south and pass under the Col Faverghèra and the former Alpine Brigade Cadore hut.
You proceed on the path that passes near the ARPAV Faverghèra station and continues in the same direction until Col Torόnt, passing under the forest of antennas and ski lifts. You then continue along the ridge in a gentle descent and climb up to the Col dei Gai (q. 1740), the forepeak of Col Visentìn, to slightly descend to the saddle (road intersection) and finally ascend to Col Visentin (q.1763).
