The Taffarel Road is a flat road that runs alongside a beautiful beech forest. In 1548, the Republic of Venice proclaimed the Cansiglio area as the Grand Forest of Reme of Saint Mark. This name comes from the fact that the wood from the trees was used to produce oars for the galleys of the maritime Republic. This enchanting route can be taken both by bicycle and on foot.
