The geological trail of Falcade is a very beautiful route from a landscape point of view and of significant geological interest.
Created in 2018 with 15 panels that illustrate the morphology of the area. The starting point is located in the Marmolada area, shortly after the last house, walking uphill towards Sappade, near a curve you can notice panel no.1.
In about 40 minutes of walking along the Gavon stream, you reach stop no. 7 and from the viewpoint, you can admire the spectacular Barezze waterfall, with its 10 meters in height, formed due to the presence of more resistant porphyries at the top and more erodible porphyries at its base. After crossing the bridge that overlooks the waterfall, you continue along the path that takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the malga Bosch Brusà.
Along the route, you can admire the peaks of the Pale di San Martino Group and those of the Marmolada Group.
Total walking time is 5/6 hours.
