Features

Pezzè Meadows is a beautiful grassy clearing, broad and gently undulating, that opens up along the wooded slopes of Cima di Coldai and Cima Fertazza. Due to its flat formation (from which the name "Piani" comes), the area has historically been used for rural purposes (mowing and pastures). The nearby "vile" (higher fractions) of Coi and Fernazza bear witness to the stable settlement of man since historical times and still maintain the typical Ladin settlement structure. The high area of Col dei Baldi, reachable by an accessible cable car, offers a spectacular view of the Central Dolomites: Civetta-Moiazza, Mondeval, Croda Da Lago, Marmolada, and Pelmo. It is one of the mapped routes as part of the "Accessible Dolomites" project promoted by the Dolomiti UNESCO Foundation.
