The Ombretta Pass, located above the valley of the same name, is a destination for numerous hikes from both the Val Pettorina and the Val di Fassa. Situated at the foot of the southern face of the Marmolada, the Ombretta Pass is a transit point for climbers scaling the many routes of the Queen of the Dolomites, but also for hikers. Right at the summit of this Pass, there is the Dal Bianco refuge where climbers can find shelter for the night.
