Palazzo Doglioni - Dalmas

Valbelluna

Valbelluna
Palazzo Doglioni
Palazzo Doglioni - Dalmas, Via san Lucano 32 - 32100 Belluno (BL) IT

The building was erected in the mid-18th century in an area that had remained preserved due to the defensive needs of the ancient city walls, on land belonging to the nearby Alpago house.

The owner, Andrea Alpago, had the building completed by architect Valentino Alpago-Novello for the wedding of his daughter Marianna to Matteo Doglioni-Dalmas in 1785, with the addition of the barchessa on the north side, possibly designed by Clemente Doglioni.
Inside, it hosts a cycle of late 15th-century frescoes attributed to Antonio da Tisoi, placed there in 1995 when the palace became the representative seat of the Association of Industrialists of the Province of Belluno.
