The A. De Mas Sports Hall is a historic indoor sports arena located at Via Aristide Gabelli, 2 in Belluno, built in 1956 and still used as an important multi-purpose sports facility for the city.
The structure is designed to accommodate numerous disciplines and activities: basketball, volleyball, judo, karate, artistic gymnastics, roller skating, dancing, and other motor activities, as well as cultural events, concerts, and school sports activities.
Inside, it includes multiple gym spaces:
-
a main gym (18 × 35.50 m) suitable for basketball, volleyball, artistic gymnastics, and roller skating;
-
a secondary gym for dance, martial arts, and gymnastics;
-
a gym dedicated to judo;
-
an indoor climbing area;
The facility is approved for national competitions in various sports disciplines, including volleyball and basketball, and has a total spectator capacity between the grandstand and the floor area.
In recent years, renovation and expansion projects have been initiated, including the construction of the new "De Mas 2", a new gym primarily dedicated to fencing and gymnastics.
