The Museum hosts equipment related to the trades of the past, collected by its creator over the years with loving care: tools for haymaking, for spinning, the working tools of the blacksmith, the shoemaker, the stonemason, the carpenter, and the knife grinder.
The tools and objects of the past that make up the ethnographic collection of Fioretto Bortot have been gathered by the collector with passion and the desire to bring together the material testimonies of the history of farmers and craftsmen of Valbelluna and the surrounding valleys, from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century.
There are about 3000 cataloged objects, each displayed to suggest ancient knowledge and skills and to remind us of where we come from.
