The Ethnographic Museum of La Valle Agordina is located inside the Town Hall and is an important place of memory, preservation, and dissemination of the history, customs, and architectural and geological evolution of the Lavallese territory and the Agordino.
The museum is divided into two sections, one dedicated to the uses and customs and the silvo-pastoral activities, the tools of work, the clothing, and the religiosity of the local people, featuring the beautiful statue of the Madonna Neigral.
The second section focuses on territory and landscape, on Dolomitic alpine rural architectures, with an interesting plastic model of the morphology of La Valle Agordina and boards, photographs, paintings, maps, and documentation on architecture and construction.
Additionally, the multimedia area and the related library allow for discovering and deepening its recent history.
