The beautiful larch forest of Larieto is an extensive forest of pure larch that blankets the slopes of Pomagagnon. It is a magnificent example of a grazed forest, a farming practice still in use in some rural areas of the Dolomites, especially on the sunny slopes, which creates environments different from the natural ones but valuable from the perspective of cultural and historical landscape. It is one of the mapped routes as part of the "Accessible Dolomites" project promoted by the Dolomites UNESCO Foundation.
