Giro delle malghe

This not very long hike starts from the parking lot of the ski lifts in Pescul. You ascend to the right on dirt road no. 569 to reach the Fertazza Refreshment Area. After passing the Refuge, continue for a short stretch uphill towards the Col dei Giai pass, then descend towards Malga Fontanafreda and the nearby Focella Pecol, from where you then proceed downhill to the pastures of Palui. From here, you continue with an ascent that first leads to Piera de l’Autà at 1756 m, then descend towards Malga Pien de Vacia. Upon reaching the last malga of the loop, continue to descend until you reach the ancient villages of Toffol and Andria, after which you can return towards Santa Fosca and from there to the starting point.
