With over 1,600 hectares of beech, Norway spruce, silver fir, and larch, the Somadida Nature Reserve is the largest forest in the Cadore and one of the most valuable woods in the Dolomites. Located in the heart of the Northern Dolomites, embracing the slopes of Sorapis and Marmarole, its value is evidenced by an important history. It is one of the trails mapped as part of the "Accessible Dolomites" project promoted by the Dolomiti UNESCO Foundation.
