In Padola, the passion for wood takes shape in the hands of Erminio Carbogno, a self-taught carpenter and sculptor.
A journey that began as a boy, thanks to the “Little Artists” and the teacher Don Giovanni Fozzer.
Since then, chisel and mallet have become the tools to transform wood into works rich in character.
Over the years, he has participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions in the Triveneto, also winning important recognitions.
His works have reached as far as Massa Martana with “Presepi d’Italia” and several exhibitions in Friuli.
In his sculptures, he does not follow trends or styles, but listens to what the wood communicates to him, giving space to emotion.
Figures, colors, mirrors, and details come together in an original balance between art and craftsmanship.
