The accessible viewpoint of Cima Tofana is located at an altitude of 3,244 m and can be reached directly from the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo thanks to the Tofana-Freccia nel Cielo lift. The peak of Tofana di Mezzo is the highest summit in Cortina and the third highest in the Dolomites, offering one of the most spectacular views of the World Heritage Site. From up here, one overlooks the Ampezzo basin and its most famous peaks: the Croda da Lago, Lastoi de Formin, Antelao, Sorapis, Cristallo, and the horizon spreads boundlessly over the entire Dolomite area. It is one of the mapped points as part of the "Dolomiti Accessibili" project promoted by the Dolomiti UNESCO Foundation.
