Chiesetta Madonna della Neve

Chapel in memory of the victims of the landslide that struck some houses, three mills, a dairy, and a sawmill causing many casualties, as described on the plaque hanging on the western wall of the chapel. Among the deceased were 23 soldiers stationed in Santa Fosca, a rear area of the front in World War I, where the 52nd field hospital and accommodations for the soldiers coming and going from the nearby Col di Lana and Tofane front were located. From here, looking down the valley, a beautiful view of the Marmolada and its glacier appears.
