Built at the behest of Don Giobatta Nicolai on his land between 1737 and 1742, to replace the old chapel, damaged by the overlying waters, which was located near the current fountain visible a little further on. On the outside of the church, above the entrance, in a wrought iron niche, is the image of Saint Oswald, depicted with a crown on his head, soldier's armor, a scepter, a sword in his right hand, and a raven in his left hand: he was an Anglo-Saxon king from the 600s who became Christian. The iconographic representation of the bird recalls the sending of love letters to his future wife through a traveling raven, unbeknownst to the father opposed to such a union. The church, in Baroque style, particularly highlighted inside, was restored between 1985 and 1987. The outer walls have been re-plastered with the same lime produced in previous centuries and stored locally in the old deposits in the Somasief area as previously described. Of particular value is the carved wooden altar, sculpted and painted, located in the apse, on which the statue of Saint Oswald can be found.
