In Val di Canzoi, the new center for environmental education of the Park has been established.
The structure has laboratories equipped with scientific equipment (microscopes and stereomicroscopes, a telescope, binoculars for observing wildlife), small terrariums and aquariums; a classroom and a documentation center. Outside the structure, there is now also a sensory path, created in collaboration between the Cooperative "Il Mazarol" and some girls from the Civil Service. Equipped with nineteen stations designed to stimulate all the senses: smell, touch, taste, hearing, and sight, it is open to everyone: adults and children, as well as people with disabilities (visually impaired, blind, wheelchair users).
Thus, it rises in Val di Canzoi, one of the most frequented access points to the territory of the Dolomiti Bellunesi Park.
The center aims to be the reference point for environmental education activities in the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites.
