Today, the Polo has a collection of over 120,000 volumes from the Civic Library and 18,800 from the CMF Library, all in the current section on open shelves.
HISTORICAL SECTION
The historical section, a detached location at Palazzo Borgasio, consists of about 31,000 units, previously from the Civic Library, identifiable as follows: 10,050 pamphlets, 7,030 volumes, 58 periodicals, 520 manuscripts in volumes, and an estimated number of about 13,500 units of letters, notes, loose pages, and handwritten verses.
The cataloged manuscripts are described in the online catalog of the Venetian libraries, Nuova Biblioteca Manoscritta, accessible at www.nuovabibliotecamanoscritta.it.
The printed editions of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries were initially the subject of two publications curated by the Civic Library, Le cinquecentine del fondo storico della biblioteca civica di Feltre and Le edizioni del Seicento del fondo storico, and subsequently included together with the editions of the eighteenth century in the collective catalog of the libraries participating in the National Library Service, i.e., the network of Italian libraries at www.sbn.it.
The search for all ancient volumes can still be conducted through the paper catalogs available in the Library.
MODERN SECTION
In the premises of the former Napoleonic Stables is the modern collection, previously of the Civic and CMF Libraries, entirely placed on open shelves: all volumes and DVD multimedia materials are included in the Sebina Open Library computer catalog.
In the spacious consultation room, freely accessible, 30 seats are available for reading and individual study.
