The Nature and Culture Center Al Vejò, main venue for the activities of the Comitato Frazionale APS, is located on the first floor above the Latteria Turnaria di Valmorel.
The term Vejò, of dialectal origin, referred to the space near the stable reserved for vigilance while waiting for animal births, hence the meaning of “keeping vigil.” Today, the Center functions as a meeting point for the community, a cultural space, and a gathering place for the fraction.
Inaugurated in 2008 with the support of the Municipality of Limana, in 2019 it completed the external renovation work, consolidating its role as a collective space.
Inside, it hosts a simple but well-curated exhibition of vintage farming tools and obsolete dairy instruments, enriching the hall. Its true function is that of a dynamic container, capable of adapting to events, workshops, conferences, parties, and moments of sharing that involve residents and visitors.
The Vejò represents the continuity of an active and innovative spirit, rooted in the territory and always oriented towards growth and improvement.

Cultural and Natural Heart of Valmorel
The Vejo Cultural Center is much more than a building... It is the place that represents the social life of Valmorel.
The Vejò is the main venue for the activities of the APS Frazionale Committee. But —above all— it is the meeting space for events, workshops, conferences, parties, and moments of sharing for the entire community. A support point open to all Valmorel residents and those in need.
It is located on the first floor of the Turnaria Dairy of Valmorel and is open for visits by reservation.
A quiet place, used daily and for special occasions. The cultural hub that serves as the focal point for the social life of the district.

The Vejò cultural center opened its doors in 2008, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Limana. In 2019, external renovation work was completed, thus effectively becoming the collective meeting point in Valmorel.
The space holds a simple—but well-kept—exhibition of unused farming tools and a small stand with documents and books about the nature and history of the area. For example, you can find “The Miracles of Valmorel” by Dino Buzzati, as well as the statute of the Frazionale Committee.
Over the years, however, the center has become a dynamic container, capable of adapting and hosting people and initiatives of all kinds from throughout the Valmorel area... From the informal toasts of the village chestnut festival to training congresses —like those held by the Elserino Piol Foundation.
The Vejò is also heavily used for education. With its welcoming dimensions, it is ideal for hosting workshops that follow guided tours of the Dairy... Together —in fact— they give rise to an educational path on rural culture and local traditions capable of involving both the youngest and the most curious adults.
This cultural center is the place where ideas are born and where bonds are strengthened; and where one breathes the scent of history and entrepreneurship, which have so characterized the people of this mountain.
The Vejò is this: the beginning and continuation of this active and innovative spirit, attentive to the territory that hosts it and with a constantly new perspective for growth and improvement. You can't start your visit to Valmorel anywhere else!
