Description

The Refuge is located on the southeast slope of the Pale di San Martino, at the edge of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, at an altitude of 1680 meters.

Easily accessible, it is an ideal destination for lunch or a snack, and for those who want to experience a night in the refuge.
It represents a valid support point for those who want to tackle the numerous climbing or hiking routes in the area.
Additionally, thanks to its privileged position just 40 minutes from forcella d’Oltro, it can be a stop on a suggestive variant of the Alta Via n°2 of the Dolomites.

We offer hospitality that respects the mountain ecosystem in which the refuge is embedded, using renewable energy and offering products, whenever possible, organic and preferably from short supply chains.
Our kitchen is made of quality in the selection of raw materials, and we always work to create simple, supportive, clean relationships.

How to get there

• From Sarasin di Gosaldo, reachable from Agordino via SP3 or SP347 or from Primiero passing through passo Cereda, then via a road to Faustin-Domadore (parking), followed by a forest road (elevation gain 350 meters – about 1.30 hours – T/E)
• From sant’Andrea di Gosaldo, via forest road (about 2.15 hours – E)
• From passo Cereda (loc. Padreterno) via forest roads and trail (about 3.30 hours – E)
• From Forcella Aurine di Gosaldo, via CAI 733-773 trails (about 3.00 hours – EE)
• From rif. Rifugio Scarpa-Gurekian, via CAI 773 trail (about 2.30 hours – EE)
• From val Canali to forcella d’Oltro (trail 718 – about 45 min – EE) or forcella delle Mughe (trail 720 – about 60 min – EE)
