The Carestiato Refuge has 8 bedrooms, each with 4 bunk beds, welcoming you in the atmosphere of a typical mountain refuge, but not only that, in the annex there are also 4 rooms. On cold evenings, you will appreciate the warmth of the wonderful duvets provided in every room. In the morning, a hearty breakfast awaits you! Here are the strudel, the special Carestiato cakes (chef's secret recipe), coffee, hot chocolate, and the macchiato … which here, with the mountain air, tastes completely different!

ACCESS ROUTES

· From La Valle Agordina or Forno di Zoldo by car to Passo Duràn, then a trail and forest path of 1.00 hour.
· From Passo Duràn to Casera Duràn (CAI trail marker 549) 1.00 hour.
· From Agordo to Don and Binàtega (CAI trail markers 548-547) 3.00 hours.
· From Agordo to Don and Malga Framónt (trail markers 548-552-554) 3.00/3.30 hours from Agordo; 2.00 hours from Don.
· From Rif. Mario Vazzolèr to Forcella del Camp (CAI trail marker 554) 3.00 hours – Alta Via N.1 route.

Starting point for excursions and ascents in Moiazza and Framónt; to be noted: Via Ferrata “Gianni Costantini” at Cima Moiazza Sud.
