The activities promoted by the Valle Imperina Mining Center include guided tours led by trained guides from the Umberto Follador Mining Institute – De Rossi in Agordo, museum visits, and educational workshops, the latter designed to complement the educational proposal offered to the many schools that come to visit us.
The tours within the mining center offer a unique experience, allowing participants to explore topics such as local history, mining art, and anthropological themes like the etymology of mining language and common speech.
There are three types of guided tours:
- Complete tour, which includes viewing the three galleries (Santa Barbara, Fusinella, and Magni) as well as the Fusory Furnaces complex, the Mazzolli museum, and other museums under construction, lasting about three and a half hours for a three km route.
- Gallery only tour, lasting about two hours.
- Fusory Furnaces and Museums only tour, lasting just under an hour.
